Born out of California, DNA Brewing Co wanted to bring a unique aesthetic to the world of beer. DNA was born from Daniella and Ashley Almeida. DNA is the bond between two sisters and the differences that make them unique. It’s the family you’re born into and the one you create. It’s the red nose day on the slopes. It’s the early morning surf and the late night dance party, It’s the spirit of California bottled and infused with bright flavors from home.
The goal of DNA was to create a new and unique brewing company that didn’t explicitly market to men yet was gender neutral so females could embrace it due to the void in the market. Creating a lifestyle brand was important and due to their small batch roots, we created a hand drawn logo, hand drawn illustrations, as well as a hand made custom typeface to allow the brand to feel hand crafted and authentic. Taking cues from wine, we worked with their brewmaster to develop food pairings for each flavor / brew and put them on the label / packaging.

The sister’s signature flagship beers; Blonde, Nautical Red and Dock IPA ––were quickly recognized and highly regarded in local beer festivals and the proud recipients of an invitation to the Great American Beer Festival during only their first year of business!
